Kids Camps

St. Mary's Recreation office strives to offer Kids Camps all across the Municipality.  These camps offer great activites such as crafts and hundreds of physical activty games.  Listed below are the programs that are offered for Kids Camps by St. Mary's Recreation office.

 

R.A.L.L.Y. (Recreation and Leisure, Life and Youth Program) This is an after school program started in November of 2011 targeted towards children and youth of the Municipality. It is focused on getting kids physically active, being involved in social settings, playing games, interacting with their peers, doing activities, and just engaging in recreation type activities. It is ran until December14th. Grades 2–8. 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm. St. Mary’s Education Centre.Free of Charge. Please call the rec dept. for more information. 522-2598.

 

Kids Only Club
A Club for Kids, Named by Kids, Designed by Kids.  Kids Only Club is run in each district hosted at local community centres.  Kids are dropped off by the Bus and enjoy many games and activities.  For more information click on the link above.

March Break Camps
The St. Mary's Recreation Department will get out to all areas of the Municipality during March Break. Day Camp leaders will be going out to each community and running games, activities, sports, crafts, etc. So, Let's have some fun on March Break! Listen kids, you have a whole week off from school! Why don’t you get out and have some fun!! St. Mary’s Recreation Department is announcing March Break Camps throughout the whole Municipality. We plan to get to every area of the Municipality in just a week playing games, sports, recreational activities, physical activity, and just having fun! This is your opportunity to be involved in recreational activities on March Break! Activities could range from snowshoeing, to indoor activities, so dress appropriately. Summer Camps
Summer Camps are held in each district of the Municipality at local community centres.  Camps begin in July until the end of August. Each Camp is hosted at a community.  For more information click on the link above.

Trail Blazers
Trailblazers will involve a combination outdoor education, outdoor recreation and leadership development as part of our weekly programming.  Programming will include such activities as: snowshoeing, snake day, angling, stargazing, geocaching, etc.
