St. Mary’s Memorial Hospital
St. Mary's Memorial Hospital is located in the beautiful historic village of Sherbrooke, on the banks of St. Mary's River. A small, close-knit staff maintains excellent patient/staff relationships in a family oriented atmosphere. St. Mary's Memorial Hospital is an accredited eight-bed acute care facility served by two physicians. Services provided include lab, x-ray, EKG, physiotherapy, social work, palliative care, nutrition, 24 hour emergency, tele-medicine as well as diabetic, foot, well men's and well women's clinics.

EMC (Emergency Medical Care)
The Municipality of St. Mary's and area is fully covered by 911. Sherbrooke itself has one ambulance that covers Sherbrooke and the outlying communities. The base is located at 96 Old Road Hill, across the street from the high school and elementary school. There are six Paramedics who work out of Sherbrooke, which gives the area 24-hour coverage. The local fire departments and ambulances from Country Harbour and Ecum Secum (1/2 hour drive to the east and west of Sherbrooke, respectively) provide back up for our station. We have fully trained Paramedics who are continuously upgrading their skills. Vehicles are maintained in top condition. The door to our base is always open to the public, so stop and look at equipment, ask questions, or just to say 'hi' and have a coffee.

High-Crest Sherbrooke is a 39 bed facility with a 12 bed Alzheimer secure unit and 24 hour registered nursing care. Full recreation activities and volunteer programs are available along with a 13 passenger wheelchair accessible bus. Our home is served by two physicians and is only a three minute drive from the nearest hospital.
