Girls Group
The Soul Sisters group will meet at the Recplex on Tuesday’s from 2:30-4pm for the month of March; with a special meeting on Monday, March 8th 2:30pm-7pm to celebrate International Women’s Day. There will be no Soul Sisters meeting on March 16th due to March Break. We will be exploring the relationship between physical activity and creativity with a variety of projects and activities. The group is for girls ages 12-17 and is based on the interests of the girls in the group. Nova Scotia’s Provincial Covid-19 guidelines will be followed.

Happy Feet

Happy feet is a running program designed to get children moving and inspire them to be active for life. The program is for participants in grades pre-primary – three. Happy Feet will be hosted at Saint Mary’s Education Centre / Academy on Tuesday’s from 2:30-4 pm starting Tuesday, March 2nd. There will be no Happy feet on March 16th due to March Break. The program will be held outside when weather permits. Participants are encouraged to be prepared for indoor and outdoor conditions and to bring their own water bottle. 3-on-3 Rec Hockey
3-on-3 Rec Hockey will take place on Wednesday’s from 3-4pm at the St. Mary’s Recplex. There will be no 3 on 3 March 17th due to March Break, March 24th will be the last day. This is an opportunity for all individuals ages 5 and older to enjoy the sport of hockey no matter their skill level. Recreation Staff will walk registered school-aged participants in this program from school to the Recplex leaving the school at 2:30 pm. Note: Participants must wear full hockey gear to participate. Pre-registration is required by calling 522-2598. One caregiver per family for youth 12 and under is permitted. Nova Scotia’s Provincial Covid-19 guidelines will be followed.

March Break Camp- Port Bickerton

March Break Camps are back! We will be spending as much time as possible outdoors if the weather permits. Camps are for children in grades pre-primary to six (Limited spots available). We ask all participants to bring indoor and outdoor clothing, as well as a nutritious lunch (no pop or products that may contain nuts). Dates, Locations, Drop off & Pick up times are as follows:
Monday, March 15th– Indian Harbour Lake / Jordanville Community Centre, Drop off is at 9 a.m. and Pick up is at 4:30 p.m.

The Soul Sisters group will meet at the Recplex on Tuesday’s from 2:30-4pm for the month of March; with a special meeting on Monday, March 8th 2:30pm-7pm to celebrate International Women’s Day. There will be no Soul Sisters meeting on March 16th due to March Break. We will be exploring the relationship between physical activity and creativity with a variety of projects and activities. The group is for girls ages 12-17 and is based on the interests of the girls in the group. Nova Scotia’s Provincial Covid-19 guidelines will be followed.

Happy Feet

Happy feet is a running program designed to get children moving and inspire them to be active for life. The program is for participants in grades pre-primary – three. Happy Feet will be hosted at Saint Mary’s Education Centre / Academy on Tuesday’s from 2:30-4 pm starting Tuesday, March 2nd. There will be no Happy feet on March 16th due to March Break. The program will be held outside when weather permits. Participants are encouraged to be prepared for indoor and outdoor conditions and to bring their own water bottle. 3-on-3 Rec Hockey
3-on-3 Rec Hockey will take place on Wednesday’s from 3-4pm at the St. Mary’s Recplex. There will be no 3 on 3 March 17th due to March Break, March 24th will be the last day. This is an opportunity for all individuals ages 5 and older to enjoy the sport of hockey no matter their skill level. Recreation Staff will walk registered school-aged participants in this program from school to the Recplex leaving the school at 2:30 pm. Note: Participants must wear full hockey gear to participate. Pre-registration is required by calling 522-2598. One caregiver per family for youth 12 and under is permitted. Nova Scotia’s Provincial Covid-19 guidelines will be followed.
