Kid Fit
Kid Fit will be beginning in February. Kid Fit is an afterschool program that takes place in community centres from bus drop-off to 5:00 p.m. Registered children with a bus note are able to get off the bus at their local community centre to participate in the program. The program is offered to children in grades primary to grade 6 and is physical activity based and will have kids moving. Kid Fit will take place in Port Bickerton and Ecum Secum on Monday’s starting February 3rd and Tuesday’s in Sherbrooke starting February 4th. The Community Choir is meeting weekly on Monday evenings at the Port Hilford Baptist Church at 7:00 PM. All are welcome to participate as we prepare Christmas selections for a concert in December. Concert date is to be decided.
St. Mary’s Dart League
St. Mary’s Dart League begins Monday, October 7 at 7:30 & will continue every Mon. evening at 7:30 until further notice.

Kids First:

Opening night features the Christmas tree lighting, Kidd Brothers Performance, visit from Santa, treats and fireworks!
The weekend will be filled with activities including a Christmas craft market & workshops, Victorian & Children’s Tea, heritage building & house tours, children’s activities, free skate, breakfast, lunches and Dinner theatre, visits to “Whoville”, the artists co-op, and a Christmas Variety concert.

Sherbrooke Village Old Fashioned Christmas is back for another great day of activities, on Saturday November 30th. Activities will include breakfast, lunches, Christmas craft market & workshops, decorated house tours, Amazing Santa Race, closing night parade and fireworks followed by a Victorian Yuletide Feast, Guided Lantern Tour and dance. Be sure to visit “Whoville” and the Artists Co-op.
65,000 Christmas lights will be lit from 6 till 10 pm every evening from November 22nd until January 6th. There’s something for everyone this Holiday Season so make plans now to attend this years’ Sherbrooke Village Old Fashioned Christmas!
