The Municipality is seeking bids to supply and install a new Backup Generator at the Municipal RecPlex. Bids are due February 2nd, 2024 at noon local time.

Please note, due to the power outage and early dismissal of students at St. Mary's Education Centre & Academy, the Before and After Program will be cancelled today. All parents of children scheduled to attend today will be contact directly to ensure a plan is in place for every child. Please call 902-522-2598 if you have any questions.

There will be a Community Grants Information Session led by Department of Communities, Culture, Tourism and Heritage on Monday, January 15th, 2024, at 5pm at the St. Mary's Municipal Office. 

There wil lbe information shared on the following grants:

- Recreation Facility Development
- Rink Revitalization Program
- Community Facility Improvement Program
- Community Access-Ability Program
- Connect2 
- Community Recreation Capital Grant
- Recreation Community Development
- Planning Assistance

The Municipality will also share information regarding it’s Grants to Organizations funding.

Eligible organizations for the above grants are:
·Registered non-profit societies
·Mi’kmaw Band Councils
·Municipalities and villages
·Schools and post-secondary institutions with facilities available for community recreational use
