Council
Following municipal elections, the five (5) elected officials take their Oath of Office and agree to the Code of Conduct. The Warden and Deputy Warden positions are then elected by a secret ballot process by all councillors. Councillors also sit on various in-house and external committees and boards. When a new council is sworn in, the positions on these committees are filled by council consensus. The pdf Committee Appointments(137 KB) have recently been updated to reflect the new 2024 councillors and will then be updated each year at the Annual General Meeting.
