Big news! The Municipality of the District of St. Mary’s Summer Day Camp has won the Event/Program Excellence Award at this year’s Recreation Nova Scotia awards! 

For over 40 years, our free camp has given local children a wonderful place to stay active, explore, and connect. This award recognizes its lasting value to our community. 

A massive thank you to our phenomenal Recreation Summer Staff for your hard work and dedication—you are the heart and soul of this camp! 

We also extend a huge thank you to the amazing community partners who visited us this year. Your fun, hands-on workshops made the summer extra special for our local kids. It truly takes a village!
