The Municipality of the District of St.. Mary's is pleased to announce that ZZAP Architecture + Planning will be coming to the St. Mary's Recplex on October 2nd, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. to present the New Neighborhood Housing Concept from the feedback and recommendations made by the residents that attended the public engagement sessions in August.
whether you were or weren't able to attend the engagement sessions and would like to see the final presentation you can!
This ground breaking project  reimagines residential living with a focus on sustainable design, community integration, healthy lifestyle and forward thinking planning.

The Heating Assistance Rebate Program opens today, October 1st!
Eligible Nova Scotians can receive a $600 rebate on their home heating bills by applying to the Heating Assistance Rebate Program (HARP), opening October 1st for the 2024-25 season.
Families earning a net, or after-tax, income of up to $75,000 or single-person households earning a net income up to $55,000 are eligible to apply for a HARP rebate, whether they rent or own.
As part of the program requirements, applicants may be asked to provide a heating bill. Applicants can speed up the process by providing a heating bill when they apply.
