Softball Skills is an afterschool program to help teach youth basic softball skills such as catching, throwing & batting. The program is for students in grades 7-10. Softball Skills will start on Tuesday, September 26th, outdoors at the SMECA soccer field 2:30 – 4:00 pm. The program will continue in October on the 3rd, 17th and 24th. Please note there are no softball skills on October 10th due to a scheduling conflict.

Please note that this program was advertised in the September Newsletter on Wednesdays but needed to be changed to Tuesdays.

Due to the expected storm conditions this week end the Municipality will be taking the following actions

1) The transfer station will be closed this Saturday. No trash drop off will be accepted.

2.) All municipal public places and parks will be closed this weekend including the public washroom at 16 Main Street in Sherbrooke, all trails, Stone Wall Park, Port Bickerton Light house.

3.) We urge all residents to avoid the seacoast, water ways, proximity to powerlines and outdoor spaces in general during the storm weather event.

4.) The Municipality intends to open the Municipal office as normal on Monday morning (conditions allowing). We will assess conditions for re-opening other services and locations at that time
