Call for 2026-27 Grants to Organization Applications!

The Municipality is now accepting grant applications from eligible organizations. Funding is available to support community programs, initiatives, and services that benefit the residents of St. Mary’s.
Deadline to apply is Tuesday, February 17th, 2026 at 4:00pm.

2026 Property Assessment Notices are in the mail.

Property owners across Nova Scotia will begin receiving their 2026 property assessment notices by mail in the coming days. The appeal deadline is February 12, 2026. For more information, visit pvsc.ca.

Honouring Two Employees for their long service to the Municipality
At Committee of the Whole on Wednesday January 7th, 2026, the Municipality of the District of St. Mary's recognized two staff members: Marian Fraser, Director of Finance/Treasurer with 20 years of employment with the Municipality and Mallory Tibbo, Director of Community Development and Recreation with five years of employment with the Municipality.
